Job summary

Lumexa Imaging, Inc. seeks a Float MRI Technologist to provide coverage across multiple outpatient imaging centers, including Fort Worth. The role requires performing high-quality MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

You will screen patients, position them properly, monitor during procedures, and manage contrast administration if applicable. Strong teamwork with radiologists and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• Current ARRT certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable).
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.

Position Summary
