Job summary

Lumexa Imaging, Inc. in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Registered Technologist program and ARRT MR (or ARMRIT) certification. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 10:30am–7:00pm, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures for safety and comfort.
• Administer contrast agents as directed and per policy.
• Verify patient information and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain MRI equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to MRI safety standards and infection control.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable)
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
