Job summary

Gateway Diagnostic Imaging in Frisco, TX, is seeking a motivated MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging center on a PRN or part-time basis. You will perform high-quality MRI procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and deliver an exceptional patient experience.

You will collaborate with radiologists and front office staff, monitor patients, manage screen and positioning, and adhere to MRI safety standards while maintaining equipment and room cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• ARRT certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or ARMRIT.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable)
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Education

Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.
