Job summary

Lumexa Imaging, Inc. in Beaumont, TX is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams in an outpatient setting. You will ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while supporting a fast-paced imaging center.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, a $7,500 sign-on bonus, opportunities for professional growth, and a comprehensive benefits package. Experience in a clinically oriented imaging environment is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program seeking MR qualifications.
• Current ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable).
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable)
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
