Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an MRI Technologist at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. The role involves performing MRI scans, using pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree or equivalent experience and ARRT MRI/ARMRIT certifications (or equivalents) with 2+ years MRI experience preferred. Night shift, full-time position with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent years of related field experience.
• Active ARRT MRI or ARMRIT Certification or equivalent qualifications upon hire.
• Additional ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB credentials may be required upon hire.
• 2 years MRI-related experience preferred and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and related imaging with quality, safety, and patient care.
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure proper image processing for interpretation.
• Provide compassionate patient care and monitor patient conditions during procedures.

Scope of work

Provides health care services, applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
