• Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
• CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT upon hire required or.
• CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB upon hire required or.
• CRT-CT - ARRT two years required or.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT upon hire required.
• BLS within 90 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Provides healthcare services, applying cross-sectional CT imaging and related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs CT procedures, image processing, and related techniques for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
• Addresses physiological and socio-cultural needs of patients and families; serves as a resource for radiology staff.

Scope of Work

Provides healthcare services, applying cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues. Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
• CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Computed Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 2 Yrs required Or
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required
