Job summary

Corewell Health’s Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids seeks a CT Technologist to perform cross-sectional CT imaging and support radiology services. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care and accurate imaging for diagnosis, with responsibilities across procedure setup and staff collaboration.

The position is full-time, with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday to Saturday, totaling 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• ARRT/NMTCB/CT/Radiography certifications required upon hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and image processing for diagnosis.
• Provide patient care and assist with interpretation of images.
• Ensure equipment is ready at start and end of each shift.
• Serve as a resource to radiology staff on complex issues.

Scope of Work

Provides healthcare services, applying cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues. Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
• CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Computed Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 2 Yrs required Or
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required
