Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a Magnet MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams under the supervision of the Radiologist and provide compassionate patient care across all age groups. You will adhere to prescribed standards and participate in quality and safety procedures.

Required education includes an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accreditation; ARDMS/ARRT certification and BLS are required upon hire, with 0–6 months MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required
• 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred
• ARDMS or ARRT registration upon hire required
• BLS - Basic Life Support upon hire required

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under the supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards during MRI procedures.

Responsibilities:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Qualifications:
