Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Georgia is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under supervision and provide comprehensive patient care across age groups. Requires AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accreditation; ARDMS or ARRT registration and BLS, with no experience required or 6 months preferred. Qualifications

• Education: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Experience: No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• Licenses: ARDMS or ARRT – Radiographer Registered; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• MRI technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across all ages including neonatal, pediatrics, adult and geriatrics.

Education

Responsibilities: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Qualifications:
