Job summary

Eastside Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct supervision of a Radiologist. You will ensure patient safety, prepare patients across all ages, and adhere to prescribed imaging protocols.

Requirements include graduation from AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, ARRT registration in Radiography, and BLS certification; limited prior experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• None 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:None 6 months as an MRI Technologists preferred.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certified.
