Job summary

Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA, is seeking an MRI Technologist for day shifts on a PRN basis. You will perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist and provide patient care across all ages.

The position requires completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training, and ARDMS/ARRT certification with BCLS on hire. Prior experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 6 months MRI experience preferred (not required).
• BCLS certification on hire required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
