Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. Responsibilities include venipuncture when indicated and assisting radiologists and nurses with sedation cases.

Requires ARRT MR certification (or ARRT R with MR planned within 1 year) and BLS, plus Texas certification. This PRN role offers flexible days and evenings, with shift coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ARRT (MR) certification or ARRT (R) with MR within 1 year of orientation.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.

This is a PRN role for shift coverage days and evening shifts. The primary purpose of the MRI Technologist position is to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. In addition, he/she performs venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (MR)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation
