Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to cover PRN shifts for days and evenings. The role involves performing routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging and may include venipuncture, assisting the Radiologist and radiology nurses with sedation cases.

Required: graduation from an approved Radiologic Technologist Program, current BLS, ARRT (MR) certification or ARRT (R) with plan to obtain MR within 1 year, and Texas certification; minimum 1 year of work

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ARRT (MR) certification or ARRT (R) with plan to obtain ARRT (MR) within 1 year of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and openly with team.
• Assist radiologist and radiology nurses with sedation cases.
• Perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging.
• Conduct venipuncture when indicated.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (MR)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation
