Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to cover day and evening shifts. The role focuses on routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging, with venipuncture and sedation case support for the Radiologist and nurses.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Radiologic Technologist Program, BLS, ARRT MR certification or ARRT (R) with MR enrollment within one year of orientation, and Texas state certification, plus at least one year of work experience.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• “AR RT MR certification” required or ARRT (R) license with MR within 1 year of orientation.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and Texas certification required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and openly with the team.
• Assist Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.
• Perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging.
• Perform venipuncture when indicated.

Your Job Requirements

• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (MR)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation
