Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. The role supports the Radiology department and assists with sedation cases under the supervision of Radiologists and nurses.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Radiologic Technologist Program, BLS, ARRT MR (and ARRT R with a plan to obtain MR within 12 months), Texas Department of State Health certification, and at least one year of work experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MR certification.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Work Experience: 1 year required.
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation.

This is a PRN role for shift coverage days and evening shifts. The primary purpose of the MRI Technologist position is to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. In addition, he/she performs venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (MR)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
