Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX seeks a PRN MRI Technologist to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. The role includes venipuncture when indicated and assisting Radiologists and nurses with sedation cases.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Radiologic Technologist Program, BLS, ARRT MR (or eligibility) and Texas State Health certification, with 1 year of work experience or ARRT (R) with plan to obtain MR within 1 year of orientation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ARRT certification - MR (or eligible for ARRT MR).
• Texas Department of State Health certification.

This is a PRN role for shift coverage days and evening shifts. The primary purpose of the MRI Technologist position is to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. In addition, he/she performs venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (MR)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation
