Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Fayetteville, GA is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our radiology team. You will image anatomy and physiology using MRI equipment under the supervision of a Radiologist and help support accurate diagnoses.

The role requires completing an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training. Experience is preferred, with 6 months as an MRI Technologist encouraged, and BCLS certification on hire.

Qualifications

• No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• MRI technologists image anatomy and physiology with MRI to assist diagnosis under Radiologist guidance.
• Provide patient care to all ages from neonatal to geriatrics in accordance with standards.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
