Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Decatur, GA, is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment for various patients, including neonate to geriatric. The ideal candidate is a Registered Radiologic Technologist with at least one year of experience in diagnostic radiology and holds a Basic Life Support certification. The position requires work hours on Monday and Friday from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images.

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.

Work Hours:

Monday & Friday 7 AM - 5:30 PM
