Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Magnet Began MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic films for neonate through geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MR program, RT or MR registry with relevant experience, and current American Heart Association BLS certification. Preferred ARRT MR or ARMRIT MR registration and one year MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of diagnostic radiology experience or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) registry in lieu of RT certification.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic films for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
2. Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
3. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

1. Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
2. One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
