Job summary

Eastside Medical Center is seeking an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams under strict radiology supervision. Care for neonatal to geriatric patients and adherence to prescribed standards are essential.

Requirements include an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training, no prior experience required, and ARRT/ARDMS registration with BCLS on hire. This is a full-time position based on-site.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered upon hire, and BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric ages in accordance with standards.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
