Job summary

Eastside Medical Center is seeking an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams under the radiologist's supervision and to provide patient care across all age groups.

The role requires completion of an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accreditation, and ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration with BCLS. No prior experience is required, and the position is based on-site at the hospital.

Qualifications

• Education: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Work Experience: No experience required.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration (R); BCLS - Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Image anatomy and/or physiology conditions for diagnostic purposes.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
