Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks a skilled MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality tomographic images of designated body regions. You will be responsible for patient positioning, safety, and image quality in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires ARRT/ARMRIT certification, BLS, and graduation from an accredited MRI program, with preference given to candidates with MRI experience and additional life support credentials.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR).
• Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: One year of MRI experience and/or additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other clinical certifications.

Education

Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography program

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or
• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or
• ARMRIT (MR)
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience in MRI.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
