Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic images for various body regions. The role requires ARRT MR or RT certification or ARMRIT MR, plus BLS certification.

Ideal candidates will have completed an accredited MRI program and hold a valid radiologic technology credential. The position is based in Atlanta with a focus on patient safety and high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• ARRT (RT) or ARRT (MR) certification or ARMRIT (MR) acceptable.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or
• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or
• ARMRIT (MR)
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience in MRI.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

7p-7:30a Fri/Sat/Sun
