Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce accurate tomographic images for diverse clinical indications. You will work with radiologists and care teams to support diagnostic precision and patient care.

Required credentials include ARRT RT and MR, ARMRIT (MR), a degree from an accredited radiology program, and BLS certification. Prior MRI experience is preferred, and additional life support certifications are welcome to enhance

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT).
• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR).
• ARMRIT (MR).
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images of designated portions of the body.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Adhere to all regulatory and quality standards for MRI imaging.

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT)
• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR)
• ARMRIT (MR)
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience in MRI.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
