Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic images for various age groups in an outpatient setting.

Qualified candidates will be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with RT or MR certification, and BLS. Preferred MR certification by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR) and at least one year of MRI experience.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED qualifications include graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited MRI program.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR) certification preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images for neonatal through geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Education

Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
