Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking an MRI Technologist for outpatient imaging in Charleston, SC. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–2:00 PM at West Ashley Diagnostic Imaging. You’ll prepare patients, operate MR equipment, and obtain diagnostic scans in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR).
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
• Prepare patients and ensure safety during MR procedures.
• Assist physicians and radiologists as needed.

What You'll Do

The MRI Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
