Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Irmo, SC is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a collaborative outpatient imaging team where every patient encounter is an opportunity to make a difference. You will prepare patients and safely operate the MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.

Required qualifications include ARRT-approved Radiography Program graduation, ARRT MR certification (RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)) and any applicable state license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR).
• Applicable state license where required.

What You'll Do

The MRI Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
