Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MR exams and provide patient care across age groups. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and proficiency in advanced MR imaging techniques.

You will collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging and patient comfort, with a schedule of 4 ten-hour shifts and a sign-on bonus. This on-site position supports Piedmont's commitment to award-winning care across Georgia.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Graduate of JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Minimum 1 year experience as MRI Technologist.
• ARRT Radiography Certification (R) and MRI (MR) required upon hire.
• ARRT MRI certification (MR) - Advanced required upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Adhere to magnetic safety requirements and safety protocols.
• Demonstrate ability to perform advanced MR imaging procedures and cross-sectional anatomy.

Responsibilities:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Adheres to all safety requirements for magnetic safety. Demonstrates ability to perform advance MR imaging procedures and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs. Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program Required or
• Graduate of JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT Radiography Certification Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) (MR) Upon Hire Required and
• Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR) Upon Hire Required and
• BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
