Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

The Patient Services Representative – MRI serves as a primary point of contact for patients, managing a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls related to MRI scheduling, registration, and patient inquiries.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service or medical office settings preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance and prior authorization processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect insurance information and photo ID.
• Respond to calls related to scheduling, prior authorizations, insurance coverage, and appointment preparation.
• Verify and document insurance information per current practices.
• Schedule new and existing patients accurately in the practice management system.
• Communicate appointment details, directions, check-in times, referrals, and copays.
• Initiate prior authorization requests and follow up as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of health plan requirements and payer authorization rules.
• Travel to multiple clinic locations as needed to support operations.
