Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations with front-end patient flow and hands-on clinical duties. You will perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and assist during routine procedures, while also helping with scheduling and check-in in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 0-1 years of related experience; associates degree or MA/CNA/EMT/PCT certs are valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience.
• Medical assisting experience required (MA, CNA, EMT, PCT certificate) or related clinical rotation.
• Basic familiarity with computers.

Responsabilités

• Perform medical assisting duties: vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and assisting during procedures.
• Assist with administrative tasks: greeting, check-in, scheduling, and patient flow.
• Escort patients to radiology and lab; prepare patient charts and documents.
• Enter orders and document tasks in the EMR as directed by clinicians.
• Ensure medical areas are clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards.
