Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of diagnostic procedures experience, 3 in advanced modality.
• Bachelor's Degree may substitute for up to one year of routine diagnostic procedures.
• ARRT Registry in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
• Advanced registry for advanced modalities is highly preferred.
• Comparable education/experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI and radiology procedures with proper positioning and labeling.
• Maintains competency with imaging equipment and safety protocols.
• Supervises technologists; orients new staff and participates in teaching.
• Ensures QA, infection control, and regulatory compliance (ACR, state, federal).
• Provides patient communication, scheduling, and documentation for imaging studies.
• Assists in administrative and departmental duties and monitors equipment condition.
