Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking an MRI Team Lead to supervise various technical procedures within Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The role involves managing multiple MRI technologists, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology with a minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI, along with active ARRT MRI and BLS certification. This is a regular full-time position at the Baptist Medical Center South.
Baptist Health is the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama, providing comprehensive hospital-based and outpatient services to nearly 60 percent of the residents in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties.
Performs duties involved with supervising a variety of technical procedures within Magnetic Resonance Imaging applying high field magnetism for detecting pathology. Supervises multiple MRI technologists within Radiology Services department.
Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology. Minimum 2 years of technical experience in MRI.
Active ARRT MRI required, BLS required.
Position requires sitting for 30% of the workday and mobility 70%. Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action. Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling up to 150 pounds. Continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person. Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range. Inside protected from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels. Much exposure to computer work. Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock. Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks. Some exposure to hazardous chemicals. Occasional exposure to radiation.
