Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved course in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT registry in Diagnostic Radiology within 1 year required
• BCLS (BLS) required on hire
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Abides by all compliance requirements and policies, ethically.
• Maintains competency in radiographic equipment and positioning.
• Reviews requests for special instructions with physicians as needed.
• Performs routine radiographic procedures and portable exams as assigned.
• Exhibits proper body mechanics when moving patients and equipment.
• Ensures images are available for physician review on PACS and documents procedures.
