Qualifications

• High school graduate with basic computer-data entry skills.

• Familiar with computer-data entry systems; competent in EPIC and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical/secretarial duties for the department.
• Screens and refers incoming calls and visitors to ensure timely communication.
• Maintains confidentiality of departmental information according to procedures.
• Monitors supplies to ensure inventory levels stay within budgeted levels.
• Provides input on staffing and assists in training clerical staff.
• Supports patient/guest relations program and positive interactions.
• Interviews patients and collects data to assist technologists in imaging exams.
• Assists in patient setup and explains routine imaging procedures to patients and families.
