Job summary

MRI of Reston is hiring a Front Desk Operations Manager to lead a patient registration team in a fast-paced outpatient imaging center. You will ensure accurate demographic/insurance data, scheduling efficiency and timely collections while coordinating with MAs, MRI technologists and radiologists.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in healthcare front desk roles with supervisory experience, CPT/RIS/PACS familiarity, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in healthcare front desk roles, with leadership experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience supervising front desk staff.
• Deep familiarity with outpatient radiology workflows and CPT codes for MRI.
• Experience with EMR, RIS and PACS systems.
• Strong crisis management, multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Front Desk Representatives across day and evening shifts.
• Oversee patient intake, order entry, scheduling, estimating and time‑of‑service collections.
• Manage prior authorizations, CPT/ICD‑10 verification and eligibility checks.
• Maintain relationships with referral providers and ensure rapid imaging report delivery.
