Job summary

University of California - Irvine Health is seeking an experienced MRI Supervisor to manage inpatient and outpatient MRI operations at the Irvine campus. You will oversee technologists, coordinate staffing, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires ARRT-MR certification within six months, 3–5 years of MRI experience in an acute care setting, and strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication in English.
• Venipuncture Certification.
• Minimum of 3–5 years MRI experience in an Adult Acute Care Facility.
• ARRT license/certification within six months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day MRI operations for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Supervise MRI technologists and coordinate staffing and workflow.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and capital planning for replacements.
• Act as liaison between technologists, radiologists, referring physicians and other departments.
