Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking an MRI Supervisor to manage the MRI section, ensuring clinical excellence and operational efficiency. You will support radiology leadership, oversee staff performance, and maintain regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality patient care.

The role requires ARRT and MRI registrations, a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and five years radiology experience, with 1–2 years supervisory background.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiologic tech registration is required.
• MRI registration is required.
• Bachelor's degree in health care related field preferred.
• Minimum five years radiology experience.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead MRI section operations to achieve policy compliance and patient care quality.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, resources, and budget within authorized limits.
• Perform MRI examinations and direct patient care as needed.
• Orient, supervise, and evaluate MRI staff; conduct monthly meetings.
• Coordinate with Radiology management and physicians to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain competency with iSite PACs, syngo, Soarian and related systems.
• Support cross-training and development programs for MRI Associates.
• Develop and enforce departmental policies and quality improvements.
