Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise in Diagnostic Radiological Physics and Medical Nuclear Physics.
• Serves as primary Radiation Safety Officer liaison to regulatory bodies.
• Develops and evaluates radiation safety policies to minimize patient and staff exposure.
• Oversees equipment performance evaluations for imaging modalities (CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, radiography, mammography).
• Coordinates acceptance testing of new imaging equipment and recommends shielding and performance standards.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory surveys, inspections, and accreditation activities.
