Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check in; verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays or balances.
• Answer phones and manage front desk; assist with referrals, authorizations, and documentation.
• Prepare and review paperwork, consents, and screening forms; escalate incomplete responses as needed.
• Communicate appointment details and prep instructions to patients; coordinate with technologists and staff.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel MRI/CT appointments and manage urgent add-ons; notify delays.
• Follow safety policies and participate in process improvements in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information and confidentiality.
• Operate EMR, PACS, and scheduling systems effectively.
