Eastern Radiologists, Inc. is seeking a front desk clerk to be the first point of contact for patients in a busy medical facility. The role emphasizes friendly, organized, and professional service while supporting scheduling, check-in/out, and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a healthcare setting. Hours are Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm with occasional Saturday rotations, as staffing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical office experience and HIPAA knowledge preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Verify patient identification and insurance information.
• Obtain and update forms, consents, and referrals.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, route messages.
• Collect deductibles and copayments and provide receipts.
• Input patient data for new accounts.
• Assemble patient information for technologists and radiologists.
• Notify patients of delays and rescheduling.
• Confirm upcoming appointments and provide prep instructions.
• Coordinate with technologists and staff for smooth flow.
• Address patient questions promptly and professionally.
• Notify staff of delays or special needs.
• Support policy compliance and miscellaneous duties.
