Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is seeking a Quality Technician to coordinate the movement of nonconforming material and ensure compliance with customer and company quality specifications.

Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, you will perform quality review and disposition, manage MRB, investigate corrective actions, and support internal/external audits. On-site role with ITAR compliance; salary range $65,000–$75,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED is required.
• Assc degree or equivalent preferred.
• ITAR requires U.S. person status.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of nonconforming material under supervision.
• Quality review and disposition of non-conforming material.
• Process systems and physical inventory of non-conforming material.
• Maintain MRB data and generate related reports.
• Investigate internal/external corrective actions and RSAs.
• Handle customer returns (RMA) disposition and scrapes.
• Ensure compliance with SFC and customer quality requirements.
