Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA in Cheshire, CT is seeking a MRB Engineer to lead end-to-end management of nonconforming materials, from identification through disposition, repair and final acceptance.

The role includes documenting MRB activities, driving root-cause investigations with Quality and Manufacturing, coordinating with Supply Chain on RTV actions, and maintaining traceability and compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person with unrestricted ITAR access.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED with 6+ years in aerospace manufacturing or quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead MRB process end-to-end from identification to disposition.
• Ensure MRB dispositions are documented, approved, and compliant.
• Support investigations with engineering and production to identify root causes.
• Track MRB metrics and report trends and cycle times.
• Drive improvements to nonconforming product control and documentation flow.
• Maintain full traceability of reworked or repaired materials.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on RTV actions and supplier responses.
• Contribute to repair development activities including plating, welding, coating, NDT, and heat treatments.
• Prepare Concession Notifications of Non-conforming Product for Customer Portals.
• Perform other duties as required.
