Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking a MRB Engineer in Cheshire, CT to lead end-to-end management of nonconforming materials, ensuring documentation, traceability, and compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and industry standards.

The role collaborates with Quality, Manufacturing, and Production to drive root-cause analysis and CAPAs, while maintaining MRB metrics and reporting on trends, with hands-on repair development including additive processes and NDT/heat treatments.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person able to work with ITAR data.
• 6+ years of relevant aerospace manufacturing or quality experience.
• Willingness to travel 5–10% when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead MRB process activities end-to-end.
• Ensure MRB dispositions are documented, approved, and compliant.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Production to drive corrective actions.
• Track MRB metrics and report trends and risks.
• Support continuous improvement of nonconforming product control and documentation flow.
• Maintain full traceability of reworked/repaired materials throughout each stage.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on RTV actions and supplier responses.
• Provide hands-on repairs development content involving plating, welding, coating, NDT, and heat treatments.
• Author Concession Notifications of Non-conforming Product in customer portals.
• Perform other related duties as requested.
