Job summary

Textron’s Drive Systems Center in Grand Prairie, TX, seeks an MRB Engineer to drive disposition of non-conforming drive-system components and approve repairs. You’ll collaborate with design, stress, and fatigue teams, as well as production, to ensure MRB documents are followed and repairs are executed correctly.

The role requires a strong background in aerospace or automotive components, metal machining, GD&T, and fault-tracking, with hands-on problem solving and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.
• 5+ years in dynamic component or drive-system fabrication in aerospace/automotive sectors.
• Experience with blueprints, material specs, and GD&T concepts.
• Familiarity with MRB processes and repair of metallic components.

Responsibilities

• Dispostion of non-conforming drive system components and design of repairs.
• Lead internal/external discussions on part conditions and repair capabilities.
• Support planning review, fabrication planning, and disposition of controlled parts.
• Provide cross-functional engineering support to production and programs.
