Job summary

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking an experienced MRB Engineer in Mesa, AZ to support aerospace production. You will evaluate non-conforming components, develop repair designs, and prepare disposition packages to ensure flight readiness and compliance with industry standards.

You will collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Analysis teams, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and produce clear technical documentation while supporting production, testing, and delivery objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years aerospace industry experience with emphasis on structural design.
• 5+ years MRB experience with MRB Signature Authority.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft structural design and industry standards.
• Experience dispositioning non-conforming metallic and composite components.
• Experience with CAD for aircraft structures and repairs.
• Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and tolerance analysis.
• Experience with PLM, configuration management, and requirements tools.
• Proficient with MS Office and technical documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead MRB investigations and evaluate non-conforming metallic and composite components.
• Develop repair designs and disposition packages for discrepant airframe components.
• Analyze complex engineering issues and determine corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, Inspection, Stress Analysis, and M&P teams.
• Support vehicle production, integration, testing, and delivery.
• Provide engineering guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare clear technical reports and documentation.
• Monitor discrepancy trends and assist with root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Work independently while maintaining quality, schedule, weight, cost, and performance.
• Provide occasional off-shift or weekend support as needed.
