Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. is seeking an MRB Engineer for the Drive Systems Center in Grand Prairie, TX. You will disposition discrepant drive-system parts and lead repair planning for flight-critical components on the production floor and with suppliers.

The role requires strong MRB experience, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive corrective actions on complex aerospace parts with GD&T, blueprints, and government specs. On-site work supports ongoing aviation programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in dynamic components or drive systems in aerospace/automotive.
• Hands-on trouble shooting of fabrication problems and process improvements in aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Disposit ion non-conforming drive system components and design original repairs based on fit/form/function.
• Participate in Planning Review Board and approve fabrication planning; provide repair dispositions for Controlled Items.
• Provide cross-functional engineering support and interpretation to manufacturing/production teams; support new program development/improvements.
• Lead internal and external technical discussions to assess part conditions and repair capabilities; ensure MRB documents are followed.
