Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Washington, DC area is seeking a Medical Imaging Field Engineer III for MR systems. You will service, install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on MR equipment across the D.C. Metro area.

Role requires 5+ years of electro-mechanical/biomedical service experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with tools such as DMM and oscilloscope. You will train operators and ensure timely service closures while managing assets and relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma. Technical degree, military training, or equivalent applicable training preferred.
• Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.).
• Ability to work individually and in a team setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• 5+ years' experience in complex electro-mechanical, or as a medical technologist/field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive day and night.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and various motions.
• Highly organized and able to plan.

Responsibilities

• Service MR equipment in the D.C. Metro area.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Siemens Healthineers equipment.
• Deliver timely and effective repairs and train operators for optimal system performance.
• Manage territory finances via inventory control, time management, and timely service-call closures.
• Manage company assets including car, cell phone, computer, tools and parts.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and peers and handle administrative duties.
