Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Medical Imaging Field Engineer 1 to service MR equipment within the DC metro area. You will install, service, maintain and modify Siemens imaging systems at customer sites, delivering timely repairs and operator training to ensure peak performance.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, the ability to travel, and a valid driver's license; on-call rotation may be required after training and certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of field service experience preferred.
• Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and participate in on-call rotation after training and certification.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service MR equipment in the DC metro area; install, service, maintain and modify Siemens imaging equipment.
• Deliver timely repairs and provide operator training for optimal system performance.
• Manage financial performance within territory (revenue, expenses, inventory).
• Maintain company assets (car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory).
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and peers; perform administrative duties accurately.
