Job summary

GE HealthCare in Michigan is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to support MR equipment across Battle Creek, Kalamazoo and Southwest Michigan. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and install systems, and lead customer communications to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires strong MR service knowledge, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and willingness to work a rotating on-call schedule, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military education and 4+ years servicing electronic equipment.
• High school diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• MR experience including troubleshooting, repair and installation.
• Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on medical equipment to ensure optimal patient care.
• Troubleshoot, repair and install equipment of moderate complexity.
• Lead customer communications and act as escalation point for issues.
• Own customer issues from dispatch to resolution.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective solutions for the customer.
• Lead installations, validations and service repairs for designated equipment.
