Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in USA, Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Master Production Schedule (MPS) Supply Planner to ensure reliable supply by managing orders and production schedules and by optimizing inventory levels. The role supports the S&OP process, monitors supplier performance, and mitigates supply chain risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, information systems or related discipline required.
• 2-4 years’ experience in a purchasing function in a distribution or logistics environment.
• Willing to travel up to 5%.
• Experience working with ERP systems, JD Edwards & SAP preferred.
• Experience working with PC and MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Participation in Supply Review and contribution to S&OP cycle.
• Track and monitor open Purchase orders.
• Implement and build a feasible MPS plan according to capacity and stock levels, releasing orders within lead times.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels to align with production schedules and demand.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and address issues.
• Identify and assess supply chain risks and mitigate disruptions.
• Use analytical tools to analyze data related to inventory, procurement, production, and distribution.
• Review and manage change requests from Sales and Production to address short-term supply issues.
• Ensure no past dues in MPS plans (Backlog management).
• Support phase-in of New Product Introductions (NPI) and product transfers.
